Not sure what this group says about me and my taste in men, but here it is, my leading men, the pick of the bunch, the leaders of the pack. Some get a guernsey twice they have had such an impact and well let’s be frank, they make me swoon. Richard Gere had me at hello in Officer and a Gentlemen, when he strode into that factory and swooped Debra Winger up and carried her out of the factory, I wanted to be Debra Winger with my workmates hooting and hollaring. Then he came back into my life as suave and sophisticated with a wicked grin in Pretty Woman where all he was missing was the love of a good woman. John Travolta had the moves in Saturday Night Fever and Grease, it was electrifying and my heart was set on him!! And Kevin Costner, how that man could wear tights in Robin Hood, then again in Body Guard, he could be my protector for sure. The smooth tones and killer smile of Denzel, the man is amazing. George Clooney, good looking and a trickster, I’ll join him in a Nespresso. And okay I’ll slip Mr. Bean in there, love his quirkiness and bumbling nature. Billy Joel, I have loved you just the way you are all my life, seen you six times in concert, you can do no wrong man. Which brings me to Clint, even now at 91 you command my presence in everything you do, but crikeys that gun slinging style and swagger in the Spaghetti Westerns and Dirty Harry had the best sideburns ever, I really wanted to feel lucky. But front and centre out of all these incredibly talented and yes I will say sexy men, is Mike Gilmour, the love of my life, the man that keeps me laughing, my husband and partner and the one I want to grow old with. The others may be my leading men but Mike is the main star.
