Musings of the Week
Just finished reading Memories of You by Brooke Harris. Generally, it takes me at least half of the book to get into the story but I was straight into this one. I called in at Waterstones hoping to pick up a replacement easy read but nothing appealed so I didn’t bother but I’m hoping to find something to fill that void real soon.
Got a bit more to grips with the stuff that’s been bothering me this week. It feels good to feel a little more at ease - for now anyway.
Finally managed to send my photo books to print! Although I prep them throughout the year, there always tends to be a heap of last minute editing and collating which can be stressful! For 2024, I’m trying to stop chasing perfection in my creative pursuits because it’s stifling and “done” in this sense really is better than “not quite done but 99.9% there, just not finished”. So here’s to a little bit of haze, a little bit of blur... life’s too short to be editing imperfect images that tell the story perfectly.
