I’ve always enjoyed solo driving, especially long distance. It gives me time to breathe and time to think. The journey home from Jodie’s was uneventful which is always good. I stopped at Stafford for a coffee and enjoyed a little bit of sun and a dusting of the seasonal white stuff. So enjoyed my time off this week.
Musings of the Week
No matter how simple I keep this project, it’s super easy to fall behind. To forget what actually happened during the week. Or am I more trying to bury the facts? Either way, while life moves constantly, I get stuck. This journaling is private.
Is it any wonder I fall by the wayside, I mean, these things aren’t exactly awe-inspiring to document even though it’s life. There does come a point though when common sense and acceptance prevails. We have so much to be thankful for. We just lose sight of it sometimes. Things get foggy. Murky. Downright messy. But we will get through it with focus and perspective and a whole lot of hope.
And through it all, it’s the everyday normality that keeps me sane. The little blessings that help lighten my mood. A cute smile. A little bit of light. It all helps.
