Scott and I were happy to get a last minute invite tonight to go to the 3D movie Avatar: The Way of the Water with the Johnsons and Oma. (Of note, the invite was made for an unfortunate reason. They were only available to go to Avatar because the play they were scheduled to see tonight, The Lion King, was cancelled due to an illness in the cast.) Scott & I drove up to the Johnsons for dessert (blueberry dessert - a family favorite!) and then went to the movie. I was thankful that Michelle had read up and reminded us of the plot of the original 2009 Avatar movie because to be honest I had completely forgotten the story line. It was a fun night!
