I have felt very envious of those who have had snow for Christmas and New Years (Buffalo excluded from that envy!) So I looked back to almost a decade ago to find a memory of snow on an early morning in our kitchen.

Winter 2005
We don't have snow that often in Annapolis, but neither do we have evergreen trees. What we had back then was a lot of bamboo. Snow would bend the stalks and they would hang all over our deck. I really enjoyed watching them spring back up if the snow melted or I gave the stalks a good shake.
