I picked a holiday tradition that started back in 2006. Here is the journaling: "This unexpected holiday tradition is one of my favorites! When Owen was almost 2, it was time to open the Christmas stockings. I assumed Brett would pop a few things in mine before Santa arrived. So when we were getting ready to open the stockings, Owen said he couldn’t wait to see what I got and I winked at Brett. Then Brett whispered, “did you put anything in yours?” I said no, and he said to quickly distract Owen. He grabbed the first thing he could find, which was a small orange and popped it in my stocking. From that year on, Owen was convinced that the thing I was most excited about for Christmas was my “baby orange“ in my Christmas stocking! 😂 Photo from December 2006"
