Some photos from our family this year, and musings about recent challenges. I didn't go into the details but I think it's important to remember that there are challenging times as well as good times in family life, and we're sure dealing with some of the challenges now. Family dynamics and issues aren't neatly solved sometimes, especially when there's a lot of history for some of these things. But, on we go.
Journaling
I'm grateful for my family and will always love them, through the ups and downs, but times have sure been rocky recently here and there. Hard to say if it's the accumulated stress of the Covid years, or if it's just a lot of other things. But tempers have run short, people seem to have had it, and have been cutting each other out, instead of talking through problems and working on solutions. It's sad and frustrating. Hoping people will see the long term, and eventually be able to move on.
