Story Scrapbook Challenge : What’s on your bucket list?

Are you ready for a fun one this month?  Carol here with this month’s Story Scrapbook Challenge.

I want to know what’s on your bucket list?   We can dare to dream, right.  We can work towards achieving the goals.  What’s out there that you want to tick off?  Is it your own personal bucket list or a joint family one?

A bucket list doesn’t have to be lofty and grand, it can be small and achievable, it doesn’t have to contain 100 things, it can be just a handful, hey it can just be one thing you want to achieve, but it is something to dream about, aspire to, work towards and achieve.

We might want to climb Mount Everest, but settle for a nearby bush walk with a moderate incline and that’s okay.  We might want to pen a best selling novel, but we submit some stories to a local magazine and again okay.  We are living our best lives and achieving what we can achieve.

Have you achieved things on your bucket list – maybe a story about what that was like to tick off that goal – a trip to Paris and you actually went.  Big tick right there.   To perfect a character birthday cake and you did it for the love of your life, yay!  To own a dog and you finally have your first family pooch.

Or maybe it’s a list of things you want to achieve before 30, places you want to visit by the time you turn 50, that type of thing.  It could be a bucket list of movies you want to watch, countries you want to visit, restaurants you want to try.

So make it small, make it big, it’s your bucket list.  But we want to read about it!  Cause we’re nosy like that!! 🙂

The creative team have jumped on board with some terrific example pages:

Carolyn (Amson)’s bucket list is all about countries she wants to see and experience.  It’s so interesting to read.  And how about the design of the page, love the background showing snippets of photographs and the perfect way to find a space to put a title on a busy page is to use a clear alpha.

Ooooh Jana’s page is all about getting back to Italy.  Love her journalling and all the things she wants to see and experience.  What a fabulous page, she should print it out and put it up on the wall and it will be front of mind.  Spectaular page.

And as for my page I have had fun creating a 10 year bucket list covering lots of facets of my life, it was fun tucking them in and around the Wrapped up pages template, a bit like a pin board.  Told my husband I’ll be doing a double page here with what he wants to achieve too, how fun for our family album.
