Saturday Scraplift: Summer Stripes

That title has an awful lot of alliteration but it works. 🙂 Happy Saturday! Today we are lifting a GSO Standout by Irene (scrappie irene) and I think we can all agree that this page was well deserving of the honor! Love the black and white photo with just a hint of color and those doily stripes are awesome!

Up first this week is Lori Ann (lmaggs) with a sweet page of Reesa and her poodle purse. She used a similar color scheme, the thread bows and made her title into a sticker like the inspiration. It all works really well together.

Candy (cnewby) made the perfect summertime page. Love the color and black and white combo photo with the clever yellow frame to highlight his face. The soft blended background brushes add subtle depth and texture as well. Candy also wins for the longest supply list. 😉

Carmen (caapmum) kept the closest to the inspiration with the stitched bows, striped tag and the painted doilies and the black and white photo with a hint of color. It’s such a great photo and highlighting the umbrella totally draws the eye to her face. Love it.

Finally Liz (lizziet5) rounds out our inspiration this week with a great page of her daughter’s thoughtful look. Per usual, Liz is brilliant with the layers and her corner cluster paired with the title really pull the page together. Great use of the painted frames and lines like Irene used around her photo as well.
