Saturday Scraplift: Sharp Edges

Hello.  Shannon (shannonroller) here for this week’s edition of Saturday Scraplift.

We are lifting Beth (bred1269) this week.  I love how she used one of the photo grid templates to create an effect mimicking her photos in the mountains.  Hugging some of the journaling to the outline of her “mountain” is also great.  And I always love seeing Beth’s photos from her part of the world.  It is so beautiful there.

Cascade Meet Up

As usual, the creative team has come up with their lifts to help you with some additional inspiration.

First up, Valerie (nana_vg).  She stuck with Beth’s original design for her mountain photos as well.  Those photos are beautiful!  Love the border on the top of the page and that she included her journaling along the edges of her “mountain” too.

Guest Creative Team Member, Rae (bcgal00), returned home from a cruise recently.  She used these photos from Spain to create her lift to a marvelous effect.  Love the perspective and angling of her photo of the spires and including the details in the other spots of the template.

Guest Creative Team Member, Carol (oldbag165), created this page featuring a ground squirrel on the edge of Bryce Canyon.  What a gorgeous spot and the placement of the photo does make it look like that little creature is on the edge of the canyon rim.

Lastly, I recently went to my first Army-Air Force game.  I love the pageantry at the academy football games so I tried to capture as much of it as I could in this layout.
