Saturday Scraplift: On an Angle

Hi.  Shannon here to bring you this week’s Saturday Scraplift.  We are lifting this fabulous layout by Barbara (grantlaurensmom).  I love to see deer and I am so jealous that Barbara had such a magical experience with this fellow.  I have had a few close encounters with does but never a buck.  I also loved her design featuring the full page photo and the supporting photos set at an angle in the corner of the page.

The creative team has jumped in to give some example lifts to help you get your creative juices flowing.

First up Addie (agoymerac) did this beautiful layout.  Isn’t that background photo of her succulents absolutely amazing?  I love how the way she framed the bee makes it pops off the page.  I also love all the little details she added for her supporting photos.

Guest Creative Team member, Candy (cnewby), did this beautiful layout of her grandson at Rowena Crest in the Columbia Gorge.  Love that background photo, the photo treatment she did with it and how she used the stitching to anchor her supporting photos to the layout.

Guest Creative Team Member, Lori Ann (lmaggs), scrapped these fun photos of flamingos.  I loved how she used stitching for the diagonal framing of her supporting photos.

I was inspired by the outdoor scenery and diagonal photos for my lift.  After I selected Barbara’s layout, I realized that it reminded me of car window stickers I see quite frequently here in the Pacific Northwest.  So my inspiration is a combination of the two.
