New Year’s Eve 5th Saturday Scraplift

Happy New Year’s Eve everyone! I hope you’re enjoying the holiday season and are looking forward to brand new starts in 2023! Traditionally, the 5th Saturday Scraplifts have featured one Creative Team member. I thought we’d change things up for this last one of the year. Rather than me selecting a team member to lift, it will be up to you to choose one! But, if you see that a team member has already been lifted today, please choose another one. The idea this time around is to spread the love to as many team members as we can!  Please don’t forget to add the link to the page that inspired you when you post yours in the SSL gallery. Thank you and have fun!

Several team members and guests jumped at the chance to lift another team member. Let’s get started!

Brenda (bbe) chose this beautiful page by Rachael (myssp) to lift.

Brenda used similar ornate frames on her page, as well as several collage layers. Truly beautiful! I adore the sweet photos of her granddaughter and the floral elements. She added such a precious title to this one.

Brenda used these products:

ARToptions Plum Grove Remnants 02, ARToptions Avesta Scrapbooking Bundle, Newsprint Remnants 02, Vintage Blendable Layers 05, Golden Pretty Scrapbook Collection, Collage Cluster Layers 03, Indigo Garden Element Pack

Maureen (maureenreynolds) lifted one of my pages. Thank you Maureen!

That sunset behind the Boston skyline is so pretty. I love how she placed it in a painted mask and also used a subtle filmstrip across the skyline itself. That really draws the eye in as do the pops of red on her page. Of course, I always love a scribbled overlay!

Here are the products she used:

ClassicCardstockHoops, Crystalized Flourishes, DirtyLinensIce, FineLineBorderLinesNo16, FlorestaSolids, KPertiet_HolidayFoliage-retired, MonthlyMemoriesVol3StampSetNo12, PaintedPhotoMasksNo4, SprayedFilmstrips, TouchUpPaintNo3, StudioDD_LayerWorksNo732

Next, Valerie (nana_vg) lifted one of Erin’s (Ernie88) holiday pages.

Valerie’s elf, Pickle, steals the show on this one. He made his own snow angel! How cute is that! The title work and journaling inside the stitched circle are just fantastic! I love all of the festive elements she added too!

I lifted one of Sarah’s (sterkeur) lovely December pages for this last day.

I really liked her big tags behind the framed photo. I used a partial page mask for one of my papers and also the same overlay that she used. Winter birds are always a favorite of mine.

I used these products:

Vintage Winter Woods Paper Pack

Vintage Winter Woods Solids Paper Pack

Vintage Winter Woods  Bits and Pieces

Vintage Winter Woods  Element Mix

Vintage Winter Woods Chipboard Stickers

Vintage Winter Woods Woodsy Bits

Everlasting Element Pack

Partial Page Masks 01

Taped Together Overlays 04

As we ring out the old year and ring in the new, I look forward to seeing your wonderful pages and who you lifted. Thank you for helping us celebrate our fabulous Creative Team members! Please remember to post your pages in the Saturday Scraplift Challenge Gallery and well as the December Challenges Participation Thread.

Wishing everyone a very happy and healthy 2023 with lots of scrapbooking!
