Love It + List It: Color

For this month’s Love It + List It challenge, we are exploring color. Do you have a favorite color? How about favorite color combinations? What colors show up in your wardrobe or on your scrapbook pages? Do you thrive on color, or are you more in the neutral camp? Merr and Valerie, two of my fellow Creative Team members, joined me in designing pages based on color. Here’s where inspiration took us.

On her page, Merr (digigrandma) gives us five beautiful reasons to love the color blue. She highlights many shades of her favorite color and has tucked a delightful collection of accents around her clustered blue photos. I like that background paper that makes me think of clouds in a blue sky.

Valerie’s (nana_vg) page is all about her big, blue eyes. Her blue eyes even influenced how her mother dressed her as a little girl – what a great story! I love that sweet heritage photo, and the blended paper in the background reminds me of the pretty fabric of a little girl’s dress.

I love color! There are very few colors I’m afraid to wear or to use on my scrapbook pages. As you can see from the photo of my closet, there’s pretty much a rainbow in there – lol. And I can attest that organizing my closet by the color spectrum has made finding garments a whole lot easier. Try it, you’ll like it!
