Let’s Be Happy-Template MashUp Challenge

I’ve been thinking of a Let’s Be Happy challenge theme since the start of Happy New Year 2022! There are actually many templates in the KPD store with a happiness theme. The challenge is to use the elements of two templates of my choice and mash them into one page, adding in any other items needed to complete your  page. Here are the two templates I chose for this challenge:

Our Creative Team has some great examples to give you inspiration for this challenge, starting with Merrilee (digigrandma). Merrilee is happy to be a homebody and I can’t blame her! It looks like she has lots to enjoy about being home! In addition to her great photos, I really like Merr’s textured background and wood-look title. Didn’t she do an awesome job of mashing the elements from these two templates?

Julie’s (MaggieMae) page makes me want to take a cruise to Hawaii! Isn’t that a gorgeous sunset? I really like the way she combined the large photo and photo arrangement from one template with the title from the other and sprinkled in a variety of elements from both. That’s really creative mashing!

The starburst in the background of Jheri’s page helps to call attention to her adorable photos. Those photos sure do illustrate the happy theme! Her color scheme feels very frosty, the perfect feeling for a page about ice cream!

For my page, I documented the time my Air Force helicopter pilot nephew took my Air Force Academy cadet grandson (his cousin) up for a ride over the academy football stadium. That was a happy experience for all involved. I thought this challenge was a good time to use this large photo.
