iTunes Cover Challenge

Hi folks, welcome to another iTunes challenge. It’s almost the summer holidays here, just a few days of ‘school’ to go, though it’s been blended learning for a while now.

I wanted to go bright for my choice of album this month, and found this fun cover by OKGo.

You could be inspired by the bold title, using a large background photo. Maybe you like the rainbow striped lines, or want to use a burst in your photo. I also like the strobing style effect at the corners, so could use an edge mask on your photos or page.

Audrey (Adrianita) created this lovely page from a trip to New York. She’s chosen a gorgeous colour scheme and I love the stitched burst behind the photo. The bold title works well for a page about living in the Big Apple.

Audrey used Bold Sentiments Brushes and Stamps 02; Multimedia Bursts 02; Pencil Line Bursts 01; Vintage Artistry Lilac Ephemera; Vintage Artistry Lilac Paper Pack; Brielle Complete Scrapbook Collection; Darcy Gardens Element Pack; Touch Up Paint Brushes and Stamps 08; Arctic Whites Paper Pack.

I love a large photo in my pages, and wanted to find a way to use this photo. It’s one of many, many photos I took of Tom while out on a walk a few weeks ago. He kept throwing his gloves in the air and catching them. I love the look of joy on his face in the sunshine.

I used Pinned Wood Veneers No. 01 and the challenge freebie.

Now it’s your turn. Show us how you are inspired by the album cover. To help you, Katie’s generously provided a challenge freebie. Post your pages in the iTunes Challenge gallery so we can leave some love. Make sure you keep track of your challenges in the June Participation Thread to earn store discount.

Happy Scrapping!
