Get Inspired Challenge: Book Covers – October

Good morning everyone!

Sharon here, with a new Book Cover challenge for you. I’ve chosen this cover to hopefully inspire you this month:

I saw it as an opportunity to use the Vintage Blendable Palettes creatively.

These, as an example?

or these Spectrum Gardenia Transfers 15

Perhaps you’d like to have your journaling as the focus of the page or use a quote as an important part of your page?
Could you use some brackets as a feature, or a number as a jounaling focus?
Or do you need to document your own reinvention?

Two of my favourite scrappers were inspired to make pages for this challenge.

Merr documented her love of traveling through books and was inspired to create this pretty leafy border and took the bracket idea as well.

Liz used an abundance of text, as the book cover does, to document her aim for the simple life. She has used the blendable palettes and created a beautifully elegant page.

I chose to document the antcispation of reading that the beginning of school holidays always brings for me. I borrowed the palette and brackets and used a quote to head up my page.

And then – along with the idea of reinventing oneself – a page about Flo trying out some roller soccer!! Again, I used the palettes and brackets – this time just one of them.

I hope we’ve inspired you to have a go at the Get Inspired challenge this month. Our pages, with full credit lists will be in the Get Inspired Gallery and we hope to see your pages there too!

Don’t forget to add your 100% KPD product page to the October Participation Thread in the forums to earn shopping rewards!

Happy Scrapping everyone!
