Ad Challenge March 2024: Spring Paint Palette

Hi everyone! It’s Amy (Amy L) bringing you the Ad Inspired Challenge for March. Ads are a wonderful source of inspiration for scrapbooking! Spring is coming, which is why I immediately fell for the color palette of this ad. I’m ready to scrap photos of flowers, kids playing outdoors and anything else related to nature waking up to the warmer weather. In addition to the colors of the photo, I like the wood background, the textures, the flowers and the circles, hopefully lots there to get our creative juices flowing! If spring is being stubborn about showing herself where you live, I hope that taking part in this challenge gives you something to look forward to.

The team really came through with some fascinating pages using the inspiration. I was amazed at how each used the ad in their own unique and creative way.

First, Shannon made a beautiful page documenting a trip she took to a World War II prison camp in Texas. I had no idea this place existed, and I found her journaling so interesting. I love how she used leaves on her page.

Supplies Shannon used: Challenge Freebie (see below), Farm Style Blendable Layers 01, Collage Blends 01, Layering Pages: Autumn Layered Template 02, Brushstroke Photo Masks 01.

Next up is Penny with this adorable page! The precious little girl and those sweet kittens just make me swoon. I love how she used the extra circle frame with the pretty paper too.

Supplies Penny used: Challenge Freebie (see below), Stamped Word Dots: Love 01 Brushes and Stamps, ARToptions Rouge Paper Pack 01, ARToptions Mini Mix 25, ARToptions Rouge Chipboard Words, ARToptions Rouge Chipboard Bits, Spill Frame Layers 21.

Here’s Sarah with a really cool page about a wonderful accomplishment by her son! I love how she used the inspiration to make a sports page!

Supplies Sarah used: Challenge Freebie (see below), Anchors Away Solids Paper Pack, Emilia Solids Paper Pack, Flair Mini Sports, LAX Stamp Pack 01, Vintage Journal Spots 03, Stamped Alphabet 07.

I made this page about a fun play date with my granddaughter.
