Color Challenge: Shades of Love

Shannon (shannonroller) here with this month’s Color Challenge. My husband always buys me roses for Valentine’s Day so I always associate the holiday with them. He usually buys red but I love the soft colors of pink roses and would like to challenge you to use this warm pink color palette for one of your layouts this month.
This color scheme reminds me of the Bloom in Paris collection and Vintage Blendable Layers 03 but there are many other products in the store that could be used for this challenge including the newly released Artoptions Rouge Collection.
The creative team has come up with some inspiration using these colors to get us started with this challenge.
First up, Brenda (bbe) scrapped this adorable photo of her granddaughter.
Products used: Vintage Blendable Layers 23, Artoptions Canvas Paper 06, Alandia Ranchero Element Pack, Artoptions Mini Mix 25, Artoptions Blendable Layers 06, Artoptions Blendable Layers 07, Vintage Artistry Naturalist Ephemera, and Vintage Artistry Wedgewood Paper.
Kate (OKate) always has wonderful flower garden photos and this layout of her Joseph’s Coat roses is no exception.
Products used: Artoptions Mini Mix 25, Bloom in Paris Mini Kit, Vintage Artistry Blush Ephemera Stack Layers, I Do Wedding Elements Pack, Color Essentials Pink Ribbons and More, Pinned Enamel Hearts 01, Classic Frame Layers 01, Painted Doily Masks 01, and Connect Wood Words 01.
What says love more than wedding photos? I scrapbooked these photos of my daughter-in-law’s wedding bouquet to create my page for the challenge. The color scheme for her and my son’s wedding worked perfectly for this color palette.
Products used: Sweetest Moment, Bloom in Paris Collection, Fading Photo Masks 01, Defining Tissue Tears 01, Vintage Blendable Layers 03, Ancestry Element Pack, and Partial Page Masks 06.
I hope that you can find some inspiration from this palette and our layouts to join in on the challenge. Katie has provided some freebies to use with this challenge so feel free to download them and use them in your layouts if you wish. As always, please post your layouts to the Color Challenge Gallery and the February Challenge Sign In Thread to get credit toward your discount coupon to use in the KPD Store. Looking forward to seeing what you create!
