Saturday Scraplift: A Window Into Your World

Shannon (shannonroller) here with this week’s Saturday Scraplift.  We are lifting this amazing layout by Carol (oldbag165).  It really popped out in the gallery when she posted it.  Awesome bird photography, colors and design.

As usual, the creative team has jumped in to help provide some additional inspiration.

Guest Creative Team Member, Valerie (nana_vg), used this lift to create a great heritage page using the window frame and shelf as her inspiration.  Such fun story telling too.

I also took my inspiration from the window frame, the shelf Carol created, the starburst and her color scheme to create my layout about my admiration for the accomplishments of Mother Joseph-a historical figure of importance in Vancouver, Washington.  She was such an amazing woman.  I worked at the hospital that this statue of her is located for many years and still do on occasion.  A larger version of this same statue is in the National Statuary Hall Collection at the U.S. Capitol.
