Saturday Scraplift: Simply Torn

Hi Everyone!  Shannon (shannonr) here with this week’s edition of Saturday Scraplift.  This week we will be lifting Karen (grandmak).  I was drawn into her beach scene and all the white background with the torn edges.  The bicycle tucked into the torn edge as well the fish netting, starfish and anchor button added just the right touches.

As usual, the Creative Team has put together their interpretations of lifting Karen.  First up is Linda (earlofoxford).  With football season upon us, this is definitely a timely scrapbooking page to feature her beloved ‘Noles.  And that is some photo!

Next up–Valerie (nana_vg).  Valerie chose to scrapbook these terrific photos of her granddaughter and her college roommate on a hike in Colorado.  She chose to put her torn edges in the center of the page and arrange her photos and elements over them.

Kathie (kathie02) put together this gorgeous page.  Love the soft pink, use of the torn frame and the subtle masking of the photo into the background.

I chose to scrapbook a very colorful flower in the Ft. Vancouver Heritage Garden.  As much as I loved the subtleness of Karen’s page, this photo screamed color so I went with it.
