Photo Focus: Never Stop Learning

School is back in full swing once again, so what more appropriate photo topic than learning? We are always doing it in one form or another. For the challenge, choose a photo (or several) of education, studying, attaining a new skill, etc. Add some brushwork, embellishments, and a title, and you’re done! Guest Creative Team Member Lori Ann (lmaggs) created this fantastic page. I love the shadows on those borderless photos, the double bow, and the pencil detail! I love how she showcased the “real life” photos of how tired even a high-school kid can feel after a long first day of school.

Creative Team Member Brenda (bbe) put together this simple yet stunning page of the first day of Pre-K. The blended background enhances the theme of the photo, and it is artsy and interesting while still highlighting that bittersweet and exciting moment.

For my page, I used three “Readymade Strips” to create the background, adding just a few other elements to complete the page about my kids’ “Meet and Greet” night at school last year.
