5th Saturday CT Lift

Hello and happy Saturday! We had a reprieve from the extreme heat this week, thank goodness! I’m not a fan of heat and humidity! I’m always excited to feature one of our own Creative Team members on the 5th Saturdays and today, I have selected Kate (OKate). Her gallery is always gorgeous and inspiring! Lori Ann (lmaggs) was inspired by Kate’s vertical design and colors on this layout.

Here is her beautiful lift. That strawberry dessert looks delicious and perfect for these hot summer days! I love the vertical placement of the Vintage Blendable Palettes. Lori Ann’s stapled photo is a striking focal point and the blended colors across the background really brings her layout together.

My lift is pretty direct. I loved the double-masking layers that Kate used on this layout.

I am a huge fan of all the flowers Kate scraps, so I wanted to use one of my photos taken at the Chicago Botanic Gardens. Besides the double masks, I loved adding so many peachy elements to complete my layout.
