Journaling: This photo of Zeehan from 1961 intrigued me with its old wooden buildings sporting colonial verandahs.
Only a few of these rickety buildings still stand, but the grand double-storey brick buildings in the town centre are in beautiful condition. These include the hotel, post office and school of mines and metallurgy buildings you can see on the bend in the distance.
