Y’know, the girl who had hopes, dreams and wishes. The one who worried but carried on regardless, always putting her best foot forward. The one who felt the fear and did it anyway. The one who got excited about stuff and the one who felt she was enough. The one who was passionate and enthusiastic about so much in life. The one who had a spark in her eyes and a spring in her step.

How have the last 18 years worn me down so incredibly bad? Or is it really just the last two years?

Is there still time? Have I got the grit, the know-how and the energy to pull back the oooomph? Is it worth it? I don’t know but I may just give it a whirl, one small step at a time.

It sure is worth it and I'm right there with you. This year has taken a huge toll. But we are always worth it and there is always time. Cheering you on (and sending virtual hugs/wine/chocolate/whatever is needed), Liz!

This page proves you've still got it! What a great perspective, and I really see the hope in you in this page. Hang in there, and yes, small steps. I love the style of this page, it's a little edgy, and raw. Great title and great photo of you!

Aww, Liz what fabulous journaling, yes you do have the grit!! I think so many of us can relate and have the same sentiments, you are just brave to document it out there - what a stunning layout with every detail!!

Life isn't easy and I've often thought that there are several "versions" of any one person according to the phases, stages, challenges, etc. But you are amazing and strong! Keep taking the baby steps - they will get bigger - and soon that girl will reappear - only better!!

Lovely page, Liz! I think you are still passionate and enthusiastic about life! To me, it shows in all your fabulous pages! We go through ups and downs and cycles in our lives (we can't stay the same for ever!)...and for a lot of people, this year has thrown chaos into the mix as well....just hang in there....and give it a whirl, girl!
