We Are Family

What do you do with older, large framed photographs that used to be displayed in your parents' home? These portraits have been stored in our laundry room after the death of my father and the sale of the home I grew up in. I decided to photograph them and preserve the photos on a scrapbook page and then maybe I can bring myself to part with the large framed photos that we no longer have room to display.

What a precious keepsake, Merr. Wonderful idea. So many times you just don't know how to part with old photos or even momento's. This gives me an idea for my dad's posessions that I inherited. *light bulb moment* Thanks for your inspiration. :)

I've scanned a lot of photos of my son (small ones) but I never thought about photographing the large ones hanging up. Thanks for the great idea.

I've always known you were beautiful, but my goodness look at you! What cherished photos to preserve. I like your idea!
