Okay... This page has kind of a gross topic. Just keeping it real, though! Sometimes we need to be ridiculous.

I started with Layer Works 1739, because I LOVED the wire grid and the paper strips spelling out the words. Then I used the new Art Options Mini Mix 29 and the new Curated Studio Mix 41. I finished up with some other new goodies coming to the store on Sept. 2nd.

Perfect watermelon colors for this fun page. Oh, I can imagine how much you laughed while spitting watermelon seeds! Wish I could have joined you because I am feeling the sadness of summer being over, too. Something about this time of year when the school buses start rolling down our street that gets me nostalgic as I realize how fast the summer days flew by.

Love how you modified the template and your paper choices. Love that you captured that fun story. I am all for silliness to lift the mood. Those are the activities that our kids remember!

Love this! I vote for silliness!! This totally brought back memories I had as a kid of spitting watermelon seeds with my cousins. :)
