Urbex - Double Rainbow at the Mona Lisa House

I loved doing urbex [urban exploration] photo trips when we lived in overseas. About a week before we were set to move back to the US, my friend and I took our final trip together and the last place we stopped at was an abandoned farm house that was in disrepair- heck even the staircase had completely fallen apart leaving just a gaping hole (one of many) to the second story. The only place in the house that looked practically untouched was a first floor bedroom with a crooked Mona Lisa print hanging above the bed. While looking around I saw this double rainbow out the window, it felt oddly poetic as the last adventure I had before we moved back to the US.

Such an interesting story and a lovely photo. I like how you journaled on the background paper; the layers are so pretty!

Sounds like quite the last adventure. That's an amazing photo to capture out the window. The papers in the background really give the impression of scattered on a desk waiting to go into an album to me. The effect is very cool!

What an adventure it must have been indeed! It’s delightful to hear stories like this, where every detail adds to the richness of the experience. It’s a reminder of the wonderful tales that life has to offer, and I’m so glad you shared this one.
