Through the WIndow

I guess this is me lifting Nana_VG lifting me! the journaling reads: I love how the camera lets us look through the window of our ancestors’ lives. My grandfather always spoke very fondly of his sister, my great aunt Maude. She was born 15 Mar 1898, the 4th child of James Monroe Vernon and Lilly May Vernon (White). She is pictured here with her daughter Betty Sue Culpepper, the child of her first marriage, and son Jack Weller, the child of her second marriage. This picture was likely taken in 1928, based on the appearance of the children. Maude would live to be 100 years old. I am always amazed when I think of the world change a person would have seen over that span of years. ALL KPD
