Neither of my girls have much time (or interest) to scrap their own lives and those of their loved ones so I try to incorporate their stories as they tell them on my pages... I love the idea that they will re-read their own words one day when I'm not around!
Despite us being in different hemispheres and our seasons being opposites, the stories, the memories, the tales remain forever priceless.
This little gem is told by Hayley.
My handsome little guy 😍
You challenge me in ways these days that I often don’t even know what to do or say so I just end up staring at you whilst I quickly try and scramble in my mind as to how to deal with the situation at hand. Depending on what mood you’re in you’ll then either giggle and run away or you’ll tell me ‘Stop looking at me!’
When you allow me to, I just look at you and hold you tight and give you lots and lots of kisses because I know these days go by so fast. I love you to the moon and back Ace - with all my heart ❤️
Xx
I did point out to Hayley that ‘Stop looking at me!’ sounds exactly like something she would have said when she was little so I wonder where Ace gets it from...?!
What a good idea to record your daughter's own words about this picture. It sure is cute photo of the handsome little lad. This design works so well for an added journal text. It's very attractive with this color scheme.
I love the idea of getting your daughter's thoughts down on these type of pages! I'm going to have to do that with my niece for her kids' books.
Beautiful page - love that sweet photo of Ace & the fab colors!!
