A few years back, I posted this photo on my IG. The upcoming Moth Dreamer Mini Kit made me dig the post and scrap it.

I got home from work and was barely out the car when my son excitedly told me about a big butterfly. He beckoned me to take a look and there it was an Atlas Moth. They only have a lifespan of seven days. Nevertheless their existence has so much meaning. Superstition has it that they are vessels of a dearly departed’s soul. Its presence means a visit from them. Such belief has been engraved in my mind since childhood. The moth appeared on August 13, Mamang’s birthday. She would have celebrated her 104th year but has been sorely missed for 9 years now. Call me superstitious but I know it was her visiting us on her birthday. - August 13, 2021
