This is my entry for the January 2023 "Let's Blend" challenge.
I took a look at Joanne's project and LOVED it! I downloaded the freebie pack and grabbed the stamped block mask. So far so good!
I looked through my pics to find one that had the subject in the center with extra distracting junk on the sides. No problem finding a pic like that; I have those to spare, haha. I settled on a street scene in Ashkelon, Israel featuring flowers as the central subject.
I was with Joanne right up until she got to the part about adding a notebook filter.
A what?
Hmmm. I went looking for that in the store and couldn't find it. Then it occurred to me that maybe it is a Photoshop filter? I don't have Photoshop; I'm using Gimp. So I looked through Gimp's filters and selected one at random. I went with the "cubism" filter.
Okay, that looked kind of cool, but not really cool enough that I wanted it to be the focus of my entire page. So I added another photo and then dressed it up with some of Katie's flowers for good measure.
Thanks for taking a look at my project! I appreciate your interest.

I used the stamped block images from the 1-2023 "Let's Blend" freebie pack. And as long as I was looking around in my freebies folder, I grabbed a few of the other previously released freebies to use, too. The journaling card was a past 30 Days of Thoughtfulness freebie, I think. There was also a previously released Blendable Layers freebie that I used; that's where I got the yellow flowers and some of the background textures.
The background paper is from the Vintage Artistry Collectors 02 Paper Pack:

The flower doodles are from the Watercolor Sketchbook Element Pack:

The larger photo frame and the layers under it are from Filed Frame Stack Layers 01:

The smaller photo frame was in my freebies folder, so I think it came from one of the previously released freebies. It has a filename of KPertiet_VintagePhotoFramesNo43-3 so it appears it originally came from one of the vintage photo frame packs. Looks like these:

The doily is from layer works 1532:

I got the pretty washi tape strip in a past freebie pack, but it looks like you can also get it in the Spectrum Sherbet washi tape bundle:

The fonts are Cream Cake and Georgia Bold.
