We enjoyed our lunch in Old Town Kettwig in Essen, Germany. We randomly found the restaurant we ate at after chatting with a local gentleman and getting his recommendation of where we should have lunch. Once at the restaurant we chatted with our waitress and she wondered what the heck we were doing in the little town of Kettwig. Ha! By the time we left, our waitress was hugging us goodbye. It’s such fun to travel and meet locals!
NOTE: It was a treat to listen to the church bells as we ate our lunch.
