Just one of our obligatory shopping trips. Always the Waterfront and always Canal Walk. And of course, Table Bay Mall is just a hop, skip and a jump away. We both have our “go-to” stores that are a must and there’s always a handful of other stores that one of us will say “Let’s just have a quick look in here...!” We generally pick up something for everybody in the vdB household as well as the odd thing or two for me to take back home. Hayley was looking for black flares and found the perfect pair in Zara (Waterfront). One of the things I enjoy so much about our retail trips is my ability to walk into a shop and find, an item of clothing, often rather obscure, that I know would look amazing on this girl, items that she wouldn’t necessarily consider giving thought to herself. But she knows what looks good on her... and so do I. In return, this girl is my best critic. She’ll tell me exactly like it is which I’m so grateful for! I hope she never stops being that person for me. We shop so well together Babe!
Wow! Great photo and I love how the journal text fits in so nicely with the design. Lots of black and white elements with the pink looks very sharp. I especially like the edging on the left side. It’s all so original looking with the circles and the fun word art.
This is fabulous, Liz! And I loved your journaling too. I wish I had a daughter to give fashion advice. Yes, we need flares now, right? I can't keep up with what is trending.
