Winter? maybe not...
Mid January 2021
Hard to believe this is winter on the plains of central Montana.
Daytime temps in the upper 40's, no snow, and the colors are still vibrant.
When I start bitchin' about snow in June and not getting my tomatoes in the ground
remind me of these days in January.

Love the bright golden yellow colors against the blue sky! I was just discussing with my DH this morning how I didn't want to go for my walk because everything on the trail was so brown and depressing for me, even with the sunshine. Your photos are a reminder it's only 60 days(I stopped to count):) to spring when we start to see greens and blooms. And remind me not to complain about allergies!

Beautiful photos and page....plenty of snow at my house for snowmobiling but friends 15 minutes away have bare yards. Weird winter!

Love seeing your views. How amazing are all those golden fields and bright blue skies. Yes, we've still got mild temps and there's still green in the lawn. Very weird winter. Hopefully that doesn't mean will end up with spring blizzards to compensate.

I spent several summers in north central Montana when I was a teen. Montana is always in my heart, and your page takes me back there. TFS Love the irony of the snowflakes, and the brush emphasizing the "Big Sky."

Well it was 30 degrees here in Cedar Key, FL but I'm loving it. We love Montana and the Lord willing we will be back out there (Gardiner) in April. Your page is awesome!
