Didn't really want to change up the journaler for the bottom corner but just felt like this page needed a journaler with a bit more of a border with an ooooomph! I may change the previous weeks to keep it consistent or I may do months-about... decisions, decisions! Most of all, keeping this project simple is key to my success in keeping up with it.

Love that this weekly project allows me to include little “messages of the moment” to those I love. Thoughts or observations that come to me, either through my own daydreaming or those inspired by images the kids share, messages that may otherwise go unspoken. And Ayla, my sweet girl, this one’s for you! You have the most delightful, soft, sweet, baby curls!
Musings of the Week
Having finally decided I need some cool trousers (cool as in temperature cool rather than “look cool”) for CT, and having picked up/ordered no less than 16 (yes, sixteen) pairs from M&S and NEXT, I had a brain wave and thought I’d best check whatever it is I’ve got stashed away that I haven’t worn for absolute yonks. Hey presto, there they were... some trousers that will do just fine. All that to say that the returns desks are going to love me. And while carrying about above search, I had another sudden rush of blood to the head and decided to thin out the stuff I’ve been hanging onto for varying reasons and BOOM! Two big bags were dropped off at the clothing bank. Also amongst all that stuff I dug out were Hayley’s prom shoes which led me to a scrapbook page all of their own for my 2024 year book... just for old times’ sake!
I’ve done pretty ok this week with my word for this year - ACCEPTANCE. I’ve realised in working with it, there is a direct impact on how I’ve managed to process things a little differently this week. Determined to build on that going forward!
