Journaling: It had been a long, long time since I have had my hair done. I’m not someone who cares at all about my looks normally but I do get frustrated with my hair. I hate it long or on the back of my neck and at 40 I am not yet ready to embrace the greys. When Dylan was made redundant in Sept 2020 the first thing I cut from the budget was my hair appointments. I didn’t complain once but you can bet the first thing I did for myself when Dylan was working again was book back in! It was an enormous self-esteem boost that I needed. We might be off the roller coaster now but I am still working hard to bring my stress back under control. I have found myself down a dark hole at times and this little act of self-care was a step back up the ladder out of it.
What a cool look with the stitches in the wood frame, I love it! And I'm glad you're getting a hair 'do that you like and makes you feel better. Very cute!
I could look at this page forever and keep finding more to like! What a great design, it's so feminine and complex, just like you! Glad for you that you got to treat yourself to a day at the salon, and this was a great way to note the day!
