Journaling:
This has been a long time coming, but Evan finally got his drivers license! Without a car, he really wasn’t in a huge rush to take his test. I went with him and I’m not sure who was more nervous! First, the examiner had Evan sit in the car and turn on his turn signals, brakes, etc. before the driving portion of the test. When the examiner told Evan to tap the brakes to make sure the lights worked, he pushed the gas pedal instead! The car revved so loudly but luckily the emergency brake was on. That wasn’t the best start to his test, but he passed! We laughed the whole way home about that! And we will be giggling about this memory for a very long time!
