Monarch Visit 2012

I love the new Butterfly Blendable Layers coming to the store very soon! They are so vibrant. I had the perfect photos from 2012 to scrap. When I taught 2nd grade, we used to raise monarchs in the classroom. I'd have to traipse around in the morning before work picking milkweed for the caterpillars. If a chrysalis had formed on a Friday, I'd need to take the terrarium home so I could release any monarchs that emerged. These photos are from a Saturday in 2012.

Love seeing the template -really love seeing the monarchs - I think you need to have them again for the 3rd graders think of all the new things they can learn !!!!

Fun! Great use of the new template and blendable butterflies for your photos. I always love orange and pink together! :)

Wow! First off … fantastic photos. Second … so cool that you raised monarchs. I’d be torn between wanting to see them and being freaked out to be too close because they are bugs and bugs (including butterflies) creep me out. 😂

I have thought about doing it again! A couple of years ago we did mealworms, but they're a pain because you can't release live darkling beetles!

It's funny you should say that. My daughter said she would NEVER want a butterfly on her now because bugs are gross. 🤣
