I love template mashups so much that I decided to mash up a couple of Layer Works for this page for the Story Challenge. My mom didn't really have a mantra, but when I saw this brush/stamp I instantly thought this would have been it. She lived these words every day of her life. With both Mother's Day and her birthday in May (she was born on Mother's Day), I find myself thinking of her more often. And while bittersweet, it is getting a little easier each year that passes. She died on World Kindness Day in 2019, and I found it very fitting, as she was the kindest person I've ever known. (Oh and yellow was her favorite color, hence the obvious choice here.)
