I wish I could remember the lead up to this photo but I can’t. All I know is that you were going through a phase where you’d lash out at anybody who was, quite simply, irritating you. Yes, the joys of toddlerhood! I’d probably been teasing you about something because I do know I was fully expecting one of your smacks so I closed my eyes in anticipation. I was totally unprepared on seeing this photo, that you’d simply put your head in your hands! Oh sweet boy, I can’t wait to see you again.
