Not sure how a snow layout ended up with a yellow toned palette. I love watching the birds out of the kitchen window. The cats and I are fascinated. I found it astonishing to see the little birds disappear into the ornamental grass. There must have been enough pockets clear of snow for them to hide in and then they'd creep back up a stalk and fly out. Backyard nature at its finest.
