Joanne's wildlife LOs and blending inspired this LO. I did use a photo from Ireland in the background but it wasn't the spot I saw the deer. There are mainly two kinds of deer in the Killarney area-red deer and sika deer and we saw both on our trip but didn't get any good photos of them. I was walking in the woods near the Dunloe Castle looking for all the fairy doors on the hotel property when I suddenly came face to face with three red deer does. Such a magical moment and I so wish I had been able to get a photo of them but simply by whispering "hi", I scared them off. One of my favorite memories of Ireland and staying at the Dunloe Hotel.
