Journalling:

And very happy to do so. I will admit I was concerned about the deaths from fatal blood clots from I think about five people being injected with AstraZeneca in Australia, and then the government declaring that AstraZeneca was now being administered to over-50’s only whilst under 50’s got Pfizer. What!!? Were the over 50’s expendable? Did we not matter for the future of the country? But then doing my research, over 400 people die in Australia each year from blood clots or pulmonary embolism. And at the current time Australia’s vaccination rollout has reached over 2 million doses. So at a 0.00025% death rate to date, I’m prepared to take my chances in an effort to get back to some normalcy. What I didn’t like was the side effects. I woke with a crushing headache at 3am that lasted the rest of the next day, and the fatigue, I was so incredibly tired that next day. But then in 24 hours those side effects have now gone and I’m back to normal. Not looking forward to 12 weeks time though when the second jab is given though if that headache comes back.
I applaud you! I am now fully vaccinated, and it was worth the bit of discomfort. I can only imagine what people went through who actually had the virus. Love how you documented this, Carol.

I like the documentary-real style of the journaling. Glad you got your first vaccine! The Healthcare graphic makes quite an impact on here.

Gosh, I love this design, Carol, with the cool background patterned paper and paint adding so much interest. Happy you've been "jabbed" and are one step closer to returning to normalcy!

That’s was up on the wall inside the facility. Thought it was too good not to take a pic of.

Here's what I love about this! You got your first shot, survived the side effects, used the cool graphic logo and colors on your page, and made a terrific background. Oh and your hair looks so good!

Great news, Carol! My wife (Ros) had her first dose a couple of weeks ago and apart from the chills that night, had no other side effects. I love the design of your page (the graphic is perfect!), the colours and the gorgeous photo; but most of all, I love your journaling!
