Journaling: "We occasionally have a couple geese visit the pond in the summer for a day here and there. This year was so fun when a pair raised their babies on our pond! Mom and Dad were just amazing because they were always on alert to keep the babies safe. I will admit that they were messy (poop everywhere), but it was so fun to see the babies grow up from a distance. It was always hard to get a decent photo because as I came anywhere near, Mom and Dad would flank them on each side and quickly move them to the far edge of the pond. June 2021"
