Alll the feels in our house right now. Child number three off to University this weekend coming. You know I started digital scrapbooking when she was a baby - can you believe she's now 18!
Wonderful sentiments. I cried every day for a week when my youngest left. I never expected that to happen! I love the strength of her gaze in that photo. It has been an honor watching her grow up to such a fine young lady!
What a lovely layout Mel! Just look at her - so gorgeous and full of promise. And in between all the rush, panic, excitement, pride and sadness , , , don't forget to give yourself and Dan a really good pat on the back - you raise great people XXX
Your journaling pulls at my heartstrings. Happy and sad all at the same time. What a gorgeous photo of her and I love the messy yet cohesive look to your page!
You express yourself so well, Mel. I can relate. It was a long while back but I remember so well the mixture of pride, gratefulness and poignancy in having a child ready to leave for school away from home. Like you said, it all happens in the blink of an eye.
So beautifully put and such a great page. It's so hard sending them off and so filled with mixed emotions. Funny how we raise them knowing it will happen but we're never ready for it!
