Scotland can be pretty rainy at times, but when the sun comes out - the coast can be gorgeous. The road up the Ayrshire coast from Ayr to Greenock has lovely views where you can look across to Ailsa Craig and Arran, and see seals basking on the rocks.
I'm missing the beach just now with our rules to stay in the local area, looking forward to when we can explore again.
