Always & Forever ... Mom & Dad's wedding

I thought these Blendable Layers (coming soon!) would be perfect for this old black and white photo taken at my Mom & Dad’s government wedding in Germany back in 1962. (In Germany the justice of the peace wedding is the legal wedding - the church wedding came after.) I love scrapping old photos sometimes!

This was a particularly lovely way to showcase that wonderful photo! They look so in love! That's interesting about the justice of the peace requirement. Really beautiful use of the blendable.

Of course, I love the photo! It’s the same era as when DH and I got married just a few years later than your parents were married. Your mom’s white gloves and little clutch purse are so classy.

Love that photo of them at their civil ceremony. Seems to be a European requirement but many military marriages (including me, several friends and my son) have a civil ceremony prior to church or family weddings.
