I found myself roaming through my 2016 photos today (looking for a photo I'd taken a picture of instead of scanning - who knows why!), and realized that although I'd made a page about our West Wing visit while we were D.C., I hadn't captured our East Wing tour. I started to put together a two-page layout, but decided to first make a "matching" page for my West Wing layout. TFL! :-)

We waited in a long line to get in, despite reservations, but it was worth it to get a glimpse of the pomp and history of “the People’s House.” It’s amazing to think how far back so many items are from, and to consider those long-ago times. I’m glad we could see it up close ourselves.
