I hopped onto my computer this afternoon, totally intending to either finish up my December Days project or create the final (December) pages for my monthly summaries...and you know, the best laid plans! I ended up getting hooked by the new Color Challenge. (Love it, Chrissy! All these cool, fresh colors in the gallery!) I wandered around in my photos, looking for some pics that I thought might suit. After spending some time looking at snow and mountains, I saw these cute (if imperfect!) snapshots of my youngest, tentatively trying out the "fountain game" at Seattle Center, when he was still so very little. With his blue swim trunks and the silver dome of the fountain, it seemed like these might work well for the challenge! Another fun walk down memory lane. Such fun times!
Journaling
Playing in the International Fountain at Seattle Center was always you kids’ favorite part of Folklife when you were little. The fountain spouts water in different directions at different intervals, and the joy is in trying to get just a bit wet without getting hit with a sudden unexpected jet of water! Trying to touch the silver dome is a favorite game. I love these images of you taking in the scene and figuring out the game, and then getting up your courage to get just a bit closer. Then whee, back to Mom!
