Template Mashup: Travel Adventures
Hi! Are you ready for another Template Mashup Challenge? This is Merrilee (aka digigrandma) here with a Travel Adventures theme for this Mashup. My guess is that just about everyone has photos from travels that are just waiting to be scrapped. You’ll have your choice of a variety of different photo frames in these templates and many travel themed embellishments.
The open travel journal allows for a casual arrangement of photos plus space for fun embellishments to fit the theme or perhaps the grid arrangement will inspire you for your mashup.
My Travel Journal Layered Template No 07
Exotic rock formations take center stage on Jill’s (aka jbhansen) lovely travel page. The size of the people included in her photos give a good idea of just how huge these rock formations are. Another plus is how Jill used the notepaper for her journal text. Her background paper from ARToptions Mini Mix No 22 completes Jill’s page.
Julie’s (aka MaggieMae) very attractive mashup page includes photos of her beloved dogs who accompany them on their travel adventures. Julie added elements to fit the theme from Lakeside Element Mix and Curators Meadow Ephemera. Her background papers are from Lakeside Paper Pack 01 and Curators Meadow Paper Pack 01.
Wendy (aka Wendymck) chose to repeat one of the frames in a grid pattern for her multiple photos from a visit to a Grand Bazaar while on a recent cruise. Wendy has been doing a lot of traveling lately and I love that we get to see her photographs on her pages. I think her design for this page really allows the photos to take center state. A paper from Lakeside Solids Paper Pack completes her Mashup.
I love to revisit older photos and combine them in random collections that show places the family has visited, so, I decided to create two pages using the templates that can be placed side by side in a photo book. My background papers are from Lakeside Papers No 01 and Lakeside Solids.
